hi, i am just wondering if anyone knows if it is still safe to cross the border from south africa to zimbabwe. i am going to be going to college in south africa and i have a few weeks off this coming december and want to cross over for a week or so.
i am curious as to what kind of hassle i will have to go though when i cross the border both in and out of zimbabwe.
any info would be awsome.

You will have no trouble. As long as you have the correct visas. TExactly the same as all the other border crossings in Africa. They are more than happy to welcome tourists they really need the money. The internal problems has destroyed tourism in Zimbabwe. I was there in october last year.
