Flights To Easter Island

Is it cheaper to get stand-by?

I know only LAN flies to the easter islands and I want to go sometime in June of this year from santiago. Due to it being a quieter time down there do you think it would be cheaper to show up at the airport and get on stand-by rather than booking ahead? Reply to this

All flights to EI depart full. I really doubt you would get a seat at any time of year. You might look into buying a ticket when you get here and see what they cost, but this is a very popular destination all year. Reply to this

Hi Patrick,

It's also due to the fact there are very few flights. To my knowledge, it's only LAN and they have only 2 or 3 flights a week. These flights are doing Santiago-Easter Island-Papetee( Tahiti)...

There are not cheap at all, but if you fly from outside South America orignaly, you may want to look in a pass from Lan Chile. Reply to this
