I am planning a easy rider trip from Dalat up to Hoi An.
From Hoi an I need to work out the fastest way to get down to the Mekong, preferably avoiding going back into Saigon.
I can’t find any info online to show direct flights from Danang to Rach Gia, is that correct?
Aiming to get to Can Tho or Ben Tre.

If you have a look on the Seat61 website -> Vietnam, you will find trains that go from Da Nang to Saigon and then I'm sure there would be buses to Can Tho or Ben Tre. I know you're trying to avoid going back into Saigon but I don't know if there's a way around it.
The train from Da Nang to Saigon is US$36 on a soft sleeper with aircon. It doesn't mention how long it takes.
Can you give us some more information about the Easy Rider trip? How much is it and how many days will it take?

It is right that there is not exist flight from Danang to Rach Gia. The best and normal way that you have to stop in HCMC then by car to Can Tho.
