Reply to this Hi,
The birth place of bungee jumping is New Zealand, around Queenstown....
Reply to this Many thanks to Pierre and Jo, The link is very useful,
so now i get to go to New Zealand for a try, ·o· i bet you guys have tried it already , yes?
Reply to this I haven't been bungy jumping yet, but I used to skydive :-)
Reply to this Hi,
Seems I'm on the same line as Jo...didn't do it and won't do it...not interested at wasting 100usd just for a 5 second jump....did twice skydiving...that's something....but did also the zero gravity flight...this is out of this world. I've got few entries on South Island, NZ...as well as the zero gravity flight out of Cape Canaveral in 2007.
Reply to this aww, skydiving, i have seen it in a movie called "the bucket list", actually i thought i would never dare to got a try ·o·
so i turned to think about bungy·o·, thought it would be thrill for me.
anyway, never know until tried. :-)
Reply to this Skydiving is like nothing else - and times that by 10 when you get to jump by yourself :-) :-) :-)
Reply to this PHEEEWWWEE.......
skydiving also in New Zealand ? that's cool, sounds like i should try since Morgan Freeman has tried, and am much younger than him ·o· soorry i didnt say Morgan is old...
Reply to this If you do it as a tandem jump you have no 'job' to do except enjoy the ride :-)
Make sure you keep your eyes open!!
Reply to this yeah, definitely a tandem jump is neeed since am a completly scaramouch ·o·
thanks Jo, its really helpful :-D
AWESOME world...·o·
Reply to this The highest bungee jump in the world is supposed to be in Macau, and the 2nd highest is the Bloukrans Bridge in South Africa (even though they say they are number 1). You might as well go all out!
Reply to this Hi,
But Macau is on top of at tower....would go to SA or NZ.
From Shanghai Macau is nearer for sure....if you go there make sure you see the latest Cirque du Soleil show named Zaia....but that's out of topic....
Reply to this Hi,
Only done one bungee (and probably that was enough for me!), but if you don't want to spend a fortune there was a small one in San Gil, Colombia that we did and it only cost us about 7GBP! We blogged about it if you want to check it out.
Good luck and enjoy...it is amazing!
Reply to this @Mark and Chrissie - I don't know if this is an activity I want to take the budget option on 😊
I did the ~200m one in New Zealand with A J Hackett - in 2002 - and - well - I don't feel the need to do it again now - but at the time would have jumped again 5 mins later for sure.
Reply to this Please post any skydiving related discussion in the following topic - thanks 😊
