I am going to Indonesia and Malaysia on friday and I have few qustions before I go. I hope anyone can help.
The first thing are clothes. I am a girl and I do not know what to wear. How much of skin can I show in those 2 countries? Do I have to have my shoulders covered? What about lenght of shorts and skirt?
I was also thinking of going on Borneo and Sulavesi. Is this interesting area? And are there any dangerous there? What about travelling on Borneo and Sulavesi-is it harder than on other areas of Indonesia and Malaysia?
Do you recomend a visit in Aceh? I have heard that you can have some problems there but I did not check this information jet.

I have asked some people the same questions. They said yes you do need to cover up legs and shoulders. She wore mainly loose fitting trousers and longe sleeve shirts, she even got bad looks for wearing a tight t-shirt! It's important in the Muslim countries. Malaysia and singapore for sure and I think other places, such as cambodia, vietnam laos it's not so important. Is that any help?
