i am planning to visit KL later this year - after peak tourist months - i have a daily budget of $ 400 (USD) excluding hotel expenses - i am wondering will that be enough to cover dining/transportation/tickets etc.
i am planning to stay for 6 days - so i would bring about $ 2400 in total

Reply to this I have seen this post a couple times on other travel forums - the answers have all been the same - you have more than enough money to spend each day for KL. Unless of course you deliberately go out of your way spending money in expensive restaurants and nightclubs plus loads of shopping.
Most other travelers could probably do KL with $100 a day, some like me - even less!

i just spending $150 a day for sure, its including room, lunch+dinner, transportation, and shopping.
if im not go shopping, its just around $75-100.

I dont think you need that much to have a good time in Kuala Lumpur, but it is better to have too much than too little in my opinion.
