Do anyone know what can we do during the winter in Mongolia? I am currently staying in UB and would like to go for a weekend trip to somewhere around UB. Reply to this

I would recommend you to go out to Terelj National Park where you can enjoy fresh air. Stop by newly built gigantic statue of Genghis Khan. Khustai National Park is another option to see wild horses and possibly elks too. Or go to Mandzushir monastery in Tuv aimag. Hope this helps. Reply to this

I would recommend you to visit some NPs close to UB which are Terelj NP or the Hustai NP. Those are both beautiful places where you can have a great chance to do some horseback riding, ger staying and do some hiking.

Tuv is in fact closer than Terelj. You can go to Khandgait where everybody go for weekends for skiing and snowboarding. There should couple of places in UB for skating, small one in 15th microdistrict and one in 3rd/4th district near building #42. Reply to this
