One way flights from Brazil to London

I would like some cheap options for flights from Brazil to London, one way?

Hello fellow travellers,

I am going to Cuba in two weeks for a month (I have return flight booked) but rather then use the return part of the journey back to London, I am flying one way from Havana to Quito and then intend on going overland to Brazil via Peru, Bolivia and Argentina etc...

I have approx 4 months maybe even longer for my trip, which I want to keep as flexible as possible so I don't have to be tied down to a schedule. My original plan was to book a one way flight back to London from Brazil! However one way flights seem to be overly expensive!

I'm contemplating booking a return flight to London from Brazil, and just using the first part of the journey, but am not sure if Brazillian customs would except this at the airport?

Has anyone had any similar experience, some advice or information would be gratefully received...( I know this is very short notice)

Yes - I found the situation the same - flights originating in Brazil are vastly more expensive than the reverse - a Brazilian friend claims it's a conspiracy to stop immigration of Brazilians to other countries!

I would seriously consider departing from Buenos Aires, Argentina - but do visit Brazil it's awesome!

You can make a very nice crossing into Argentina from the Iguacu Falls - and then a short16hr coach ride to BA - get a super-cama bed in a bus they were great.

Thank you Ali, i've decided to make last minute changes, its a long way round, but i'm going to use my return to London from Cuba now. I'm then going to book an open jaw ticket to Brazil but return home from Ecuador.

It makes more sense to do it this way, as I'll be in Brazil for Carnival time 😊) and by the time I get to Peru it will be dry season, so Machu Picchu will hopefully be more pleasant to trek! I also have the security of having a return ticket home. I found flights for £820 inc taxes, so i'll also be saving a lot of money doing it this way!

Thanks for the info, i'll still look into the crossing from Iguacu Falls😊) Reply to this

Carnival is awesome - well worth adjusting your itinerary for - make sure you get a hostel booked asap for Rio (if that's where you're going) - they get booked up months in advance. You'll probably need to book a week and pay extra - but totally worth the cost - one of the modern wonders of the world 😊 Reply to this

Try to go from Brazil to Portugal by TAP and then use a low cost from Portugal to London. That might be cheaper...just my 2cents Reply to this

Through whom did you book that flight? Sounds quite good. Reply to this

The flight is with Virgin Atlantic connecting in Miami with American Airlines....I think to be honest it was just luck, perhaps January sales? 3 weeks earlier the same flight was coming up around £850 with various airlines.
I booked through Expedia, if that helps? Reply to this
