i\'m just checkin out flights from ko samui (or surroundings) to ho chi minh city. right now i can only seem to find flights for a couple hundred us-dollars, which sounds quiete expensive to me.. do u reckon its cheaper to just try to find a cheap flight while i\'m in bangkok? that would be probably about 10-14 days prior to the flight to vietnam.
or is it usually cheaper to buy flights online?

Reply to this Depends on how soon you are going. There is going to be a backlog of passengers from Thailand for a few weeks, so you are probably better off booking a flight from Samui because it's one of the few unaffected airports.

You might want to check Air Asia as a Bangkok-HCM ticket including tax is around 100USD, this might be the cheapest option as far as online booking goes...Enjoy your trip!
