In May-June 2009, I and a friend want to go to Bali to visit someone we know.
My holliday days are limited and I can only go 4-5 weeks.
I alreay visited Bali for 2 times and I saw there almost everything, so we wants to combine our trip to Bali with something else?
Australia is about 3 hours flying? We also want to go there but it is so large?
What do we have to visit on such a short period?
Or do we take a ticket arount-the-world with 4 or 5 stops? Which countries/cities we visit?
We are going to begin to start planning but we would like to receive any suggestions, ideas, your opinion ?

Reply to this If you are already in Bali, why not head to Komodo? You can do a four day boat trip there, which I recommend. Also, Indonesia is a pretty big country and 4-5 weeks wouldn't be enough to do it all in.
If you get sick of Indonesia, you can head across the border to Sabah and Sarawak and climb Mt Kinabalu or spend a couple of nights on the Kinabatangan River -- both pretty awesome.
Then there's the beaches of course, along with the other wildlife parks of Malaysia and Southern Thailand.
Don't bother about going to Australia from there unless you really want to spend a few hundred dollars for a passport stamp and a look at Darwin, which really doesn't have much to recommend it.
