Help with how to say something in Belarus & traditions

Hi,

this isn't really a travel question, but i was wondering if anyone on here could help?

Earlier this month on my birthday my other half took my to Venice and being very romantic proposed to me in Italian! Well we are Belarus on his birthday for the football. I was planning on getting an engagement ring for him too, and giving it to him in the language like he did! But its not that easy to translate from English to the Belarus language! Can anyone advise on how you say \"Will you marry me?\" and how you pronounce it?!

Also is there any particular tradition or culture thing that they do in Belarus when they propose that i could do?

Many thanks

In Belarus use to talk a russian language.
On russian "Ты женишься на мне?" "Ty zhenish'sja na mne?"
I don't know about traditions, now it's like other people - love in your eyes - main tradition =)
good luck!
