seeking bus time-table information

ok, after arriving & getting thru customs, luggage etc, l will be looking to travel to Pattaya, from Suvarnabhumi (Bangkok) airport, at about 8.30pm. For my own reasons, l do not wish to go by taxi. Thru the internet l have found out about the Bell bus service, which is no good to me as the last bus leaves @ 6pm everyday. l have also found out there is a new public bus station, within the airport grounds, with a free shuttle bus to it. From this new Suvarnabhumi bus station, 2 buses, routes 389 & 9905, go to Pattaya. l have been unable to find anywhere on the internet a time-table for these 2 routes or any phone numbers or emails where l can get this information. Can anyone please help? Reply to this

Hello David 😊

What you can do is go outside the airport doors(just go outside and the stop for the shuttle bus is just a little to the left) and take the free shuttle bus to the domestic airport. There you will find public buses into the city. You can get from this bus station to the one where you can catch the bus to Pattaya for around 50 Cents.

I dont know from which bus station in Bangkok the buses go to Pattaya. The Eastern bus station, probably. Ask at the airport bus station which of the city buses will take you to the relevent long distance bus station.

That site you posted the link to has a contact us facility. You could send them a message asking if there is a timetable someplace on their site.

I think you are too late for any of the direct buses to Pattaya from the airport, either Bell Travel or from the little bus station.

Not a hundred percent sure but here is a couple links you can look over:

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Suvarnabhumi-Airport-Pattaya-t126111.html

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Bus-Schedule-Pattaya-ekamai-t156691.html

You might possibly catch a bus from the Ekamai bus station and go from there to Pattaya. Bus ride on the VIP bus is around 128 baht now. Takes 2 hours for the run. Buy ticket from Pattaya window on right side of terminal.

One link from the above site says the last bus from Ekamai is 9 PM and another link says 10 PM.

Ekamai is on Sukhumvit Road. City bus to Sukhumvit Road Oh Nut Skytrain stop is around 35 baht - but it will take around an hour and you would still have to get to the Ekamai stop via the Skytrain, probably 20 baht. Taxi to Ekamai bus station is the quickest way.

Good luck.
