Hi Swellsy i was in Vietnam in June this year and Nha Trang was nice enough but the are nicer spots in vietnam and for s decent room just a few mins from the beach it was about 9 dollars, although they use dong in vietnam they tend to quote in dollars. They have diving there but its not the best and it would be cheaper and nicer to dive in thailand, Louisanas is a nice place down at the beach and also has a pool if you don't fancy the sea. The sailing club often has stuff on in the evening and the are few bars and restuarants along one of the main roads in nha trang.

Thanks

A few meters away from TM Brothers Travel agents is the Nga Nhi (Guest House) BATU.For $10 you can get the largest room ever with a/c, cable TV, fridge, two king size beds.

It's on Duong Nguyen Thien Thuat, a half a block off of the main street.

Have you or anyone out there ever taken an independent tour of the Mekong Delta?

Stuart i have to admit i took an organized tour of the mekong and it was shocking how bad it was and had known a way of doing my own independent tour i would have, it would be good if you could find a way stuart and if so let us know how it went and how you got it together.

Thanks

We took a cheapo tour with Sinhcafe (de Tham Street office), 3 day/2 night for a whole USA$35, and it was great. I understand there is a public boat that leaves Saigon's port (near the hydrofoil to Vung Tau) to Mytho. It's supposed to take 6 hours. Do you or anyone out there know anything about this?

Hi,
Nha Trang is good for relax with the beautiful beach. You can rent the accommodation inside the city not nearby beach, the price is cheaper.
Good place for nightlife is Sai Gon, good place to visit is Hanoi, Ha Long, good place to explore is Sapa and Mekong delta river.
Have a good trip in Vietnam Reply to this

Hi, Swellsy

Nha Trang is good place to relax and do some activities such as scuba diving or island tours. Green hotel is good place to stay. You can go to this page for more information.
