One of my favorite trips recently has been to Zion and Bryce Canyons in Utah, USA. I went there with my family (including kids) and they had fun hiking and exploring the in the red/white cliffs of Zion and in the amazing rock formations of Bryce Canyon. The kids liked the Emerald Pools trail in Zion which goes to three small ponds under the cliffside. Bryce Canyon was also cool because it is green and forested and then all the sudden it is orange and eroded and the orange rock is severely eroded.

Definitely one of my more favorite trips I have taken. Reply to this

I love Zion National Park; I went there a few years ago. I found it was really crowded during the summer and there were a lot of people on the trails. Angels Landing, which has narrow trails with steep drop-offs on either side was particularly dangerous I think, with the amount of people trying to pass in each direction. I would recommend visiting during a non-tourist season. Reply to this
