Oktober fest is from September 20 - Oct 5th in Munich Germany. I will be going!!! Maybe we could meet up!

Kaylilynn: Did you have a working Permit when you were living there? DId you work? What countries were you living in? Are you aware of the 90 in 180 day rule? Is that rule in affect for all European countries? Is it even in effect?

Thanks

I read that the kids need to leave by 8pm. I'm not sure if it's free.. But i read that beer is around 10 E per Litre. Will you be working in France or any other countires? When are you going to Germany?

hey Ktron:

Cool I will be arriving Sept 4 untill Sept 11 in Amstersam. We could meet up and explore the town together!?

I will be travelling alone. My goal is to find a vineyard to work at in France mid September so that I can earn some extra money and get the experience of working. I will then be backing to the south of France to live it up on the beaches and enjoy the weather. I would like to visit Italy and the southern countries.

Where are you from? Are you a stutdent- graduate- if so in what? Do you have msn- mine is

Look forward to hearing from you!

Hey everyone! I'm a 22 y/o f from Australia. I will be traveling from the 15th Nov - 10th Feb 2010. My itinerary looks a little like this...
Thailand
Hong Kong
Egypt (Cairo)
Italy (Rome, Florence, Milan)
London (16th dec - 2nd dec)

All travel from here forward is by Eurail
Netherlands (Amsterdam) - 2 days
Germany (Berlin & Munich) 3 or 4 days
Austria - snowboarding 5 days
Switzerland 1 or 2 days
France - just passing though
Spain (Barcelona, Valencia, Seville) 12 days
Portugal (Lisbon) 4 days
Spain (Madrid) 3 days

Then fly back home :D
I can't wait!

I'm spending the most time in London as I've got friends and relatives there but I wont know anybody in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France (although I might not stop) or Spain and Portugal.

Woohoo for all of us getting excited already!! Reply to this

awww Im sooo glad I found this thread!!! Well I'm Ash 19/f... Currently living in Queenstown NZ but moved here in Feb 08 from Brisbane Aust! Going home in a month and currently planning my next trip... which just so happens to be Europe! So I am planning on leaving in August 09 (after boarding for another 2 weeks back here in NZ) but it's not going to be just to travel... I'm moving over on a visa, but will be traveling for the first 2 months.

My itinerary so far is bne - phuket - beijing - london.... from there anything is possible! although I do want to spend extensive time traveling greece and the greek islands on a cruise, italy, france, belgium and switzerland! but am looking into Oktoberfest. Trying to stay clear of a huge tour although a smaller one might be an option.

What's everyones thoughts? Im not really into backpacking as the only time i have done it was around nz this year and it was really difficult as I moved over with my boyfriend. Although when I go to europe i will be by myself. Would love to have a companion who actually shares the same passion for culture and experiences as me!!!! So if we were to backpack together that would be fine (rather then by myself, i still get a little freaked bout it).

I have met so many people from the uk on the net (i know, sounds cliche!) but I had them all come stay with me here for about 3 weeks at a time and it has been the best experience of my life so I am really really looking forward to meeting people on the other side of the world this time!

So anyone interested in meeting up??? or coming with me? Anyone in Brisbane who could plan with me rgh Harv3y I know what you mean about being excited hey! I'm not even back in aust yet and im pumped!!!
