Hi Mingas

Sounds like you know quite a bit about Moz:-)

I have a lot of questions and hope that you will help me.

Im planning to go to Moz for 14 days in mid August. I think I will start in Inhassoro and work the way down to maputo.

what is the bus time from Inhassoro to maputo?

Where is the nicest beaches on that route? (if looking away from bazaruto)

where is the best place to do game fishing and what does that app cost?

what about whale shark diving/ snorkling. As far as I can read, it is not high season, but it is still possible to see them. What is your comment on that?

where is the best diving?

Furthere more Im working for the the LEGO group (do you know the LEGO bricks, if not it is toys for children). The LEGO group has a charity program, so I will be able to bring some toys and give away to children. where would I get in contact with them either a children's home in maputo or a trip, I do not really know

Well thanks a lot

Soeren

I'm going to Moz this summer for three months. Is it safe to go camping there without drivig a rented car? do the camping sites have safes or can you leave your stuff at the manager? and is it safe to leave your tent at the camping site?

Thanks

Great information here! Me and a friend will be visiting Mozambique this summer... or winter for you. =) Sounds so lovely with the beaches and the diving! I can't wait! First we will go to SA, Botswana, back a short visit in SA and then head to MZ through Swaziland. So will probably be in MZ late may or early june. You know if there will be any chanse of seeing wahle sharks around then? That would be absolutely awesome!

Love when people that has a first hand knowledge about a country share like this!
We have not yet planned anything specific and posts like these are worth gold! We will probably spend a cuople of days in Maputo before venturing north for some beaches and diving and what ever we now feel like doing!

And I can only agree with you when it comes to safety. Trust your guts!! If it feels creepy - it probably is! Dark alleys is never safe anywhere. And I am excited about going to MZ now before it hits the top destinations at charter trip agencies!

😊

I for sure will! I love to take pics and write so more info will come as soon as I get it! =)

Was thinking about writing about where we stay in different places and also the prices.
So hard to find anything about that. =( But on the plus side it's going to be very interesting to travel in a country that is not already all sorted for tourists. Never tried that before! =)

I will of course also write about our adventures. =) Reply to this

Could you post more photos of some of the beaches. We have not been there for years and lost all of our photos on that trip. Reply to this

Mozambique is a beautiful country, with a strong tourism potential.
Every year more visitors come to Mozambique and love this country, by the people, the weather, the beaches,...
