Travel the world with me and ultimately find your place in it..

I am currently planning a backpacking excursion throughout Europe sometime next year. Looking for about 4 or 5 like-minded individuals who are ready to live the life of an adventurer and are committed to stick together for the duration. I don\'t know when we\'ll be returning or if I myself will ever be returning to the states, but I know my destiny awaits me. You cannot live your life in fear. Life is about exploration, both internally and externally. If you feel like what I\'ve stated applies to you, then please message me so we may discuss the plans and formulate the execution of the initial trip over to EUR.

I am doing this because I really don\'t have anything going on here in the states and the 9 to 5 life and the boring drudge of american suburbia is just old hat to me anymore. Im 26and am looking for my age or younger as older folks just tend to complain and dont know how to deal withdiscomfort and tough out the long haul. As long as youre 18 youre eligible. this sort of thing is an all or nothing proposition. its about making some new lifelong friends and seeing the world instead of living in the same place your entire life and just dully existing day to day.
You need to be in shape and be limber bc there will be alot of walking involved, though of course we will travel by all forms of transportation. there is no set plan as of yet. just need to get over there and let the situation unfold. of course there are countries i definitely will make my way to, but the point is nothing is written in stone. I need Seekers. I need real people. it\'s going to get very real very quick over there and how resourceful we are will determine our sustainment and more importantly our enjoyment.

Hopefully there\'s some folks on here who want to start fresh and go to foreign lands and be the visitor for once. It\'s not just about seeing the sites or europe and asia, it\'s about developing an understanding and zest and thrill for life.

check my profile for my email and let me here from you if you are seriously interested. I\'m going to live a life most dream about at their desk jobs but wouldnt ever dare pursue. Happy travelling to all.

I'm not planning on going to Europe on my travels, but I just wanted to state that I find it somewhat offensive that you would say "Im 26and am looking for my age or younger as older folks just tend to complain and dont know how to deal withdiscomfort and tough out the long haul."
I'm 29, but I guarantee you that I enjoy roughing it and I do quite a bit of survival camping for weeks on end. There are many people I know who can "deal with discomfort" and whatnot and quite a few of them are much older than I am. In fact, I often find it to be the younger folks who are the first to complain.
Anyways, good luck finding your travel-mates, but perhaps try to be a bit more open-minded in the search for them.
Cheers.

jay..im sorry if i offended you or anyon else. Let me clarify my assertion. When i say my age or younger, i dont mean it in the strictest terms..just using 26 as a guideline for my preference. And also its not just about them being able to rough it. Im trying to do this trip as something of youth and all the silliness that entails. I find 35+ tend to be more docile and meditative. Im not looking for that yet; trying to get a little wild for a few years more!

and also jay..heres some food for thought, i knew yur age..yet i personally..messaged you and invited you bc u looked to be right. Same goes for my invitation to the other poster in this thread i told him via pm he would be welcome and he is the same age as you. So my actions would speak otherwise against what youre saying i should think. No offense was meant to anyone and ill thank the members to refrain from any further negative comments.

well... If anyone is interested on the trip of a lifetime:
