Looking to take a backpacking trip in Africa.

I am a nature enthusiast and go backpacking and primitive camping virtually everywhere I travel. I've never been to Africa, so I don't know where the hot spots are (still doing some research); suggestions are great 😊

That being said, I'd like to do some backpacking and camping in Africa. Are there tours that do this? Since I've never been to Africa, I thought it might be a good idea to have some sort of guide, but I don't want to be in some huge tour group staying in big hotel suites. I'm looking for a more individual type of thing; me, a couple of other travelers, and a tour guide or two taking us through Kenya's wilderness.

Is there such a thing? Info and insight (and links if applicable!) are greatly appreciated. Thanks. Reply to this
