traveling to honduras with my friend in august

I am interested in any advice about traveling in honduras, i.e hostels, tours, and cool hang out spots.

myself and my good friend will be traveling in august hopefully, diving, beaches, ruins...Ive been to roatan, but would like to return, any advice about the ferry!? any good hostels in san pedro sula? how about getting to neighboring countries especially Nicaragua. were two females any huge safety concerns?
