Traveling from East Coast to West Coast SA

hello ....i will begin my journey treking from Ecuador in November heading South to Buenos Aires and then heading North through Brazil. I will finalize my travels in Fortaleza, Brazil in February. What sites are the best to see along the journey and what may I expect from bus transportation from Buenos Aires to Fortaleza. I plan to see all of the major cities in between.
