14.000 kilometers from Ushuaia (Argentina) to Belem (Brazil) by public bus and boat is a dream that comes true. We crossed Argentina from South to North along the Andes and discovered amazing places like Malargüe, la Mejicana in Chilecito, El campodePiedraPómez in Antofagasta de la Sierra and la PampadelLeoncito in Barreal. Bolivia surprised us with the Eduardo Abaroa Natural Reserve and the historical places like Potosí & Sucre, cities that still preserve the charm of the golden colonial years with its architecture and the sadness of the tragic history of the mines, that are still active today. People are humble and the land is poor. A revelation were the Jesuit missions in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, World Heritage, a tropical Bolivia, that contrasts greatly to the High Lands of the Andes, ethnically and geographically.
Perú, from the floating islands in the South to the cradle culture of the Americas, Caral in the north, has much more to offer than Inca culture: the Tiwanacu,

We travelled 3.500 km. along the Amazon river, starting in Yurimaguas in Peru until Belem, a Portuguese fortress on the Atlantic coast during the colonisation of America. Along the river we stayed in Iquitos, Manaus & Belem the rubber boom (1879-1912) cities, golden age of the region, that faded when Kew Garden brought the rubber seeds in London and then over to Malasya.
We encountered different people and almost always kind people.
