Crossing one of the mountain ranges between Mérida and the Apure State we came across this beautiful old church built with little stones by hand.

The flora here is amazing. One minute you can be in the jungle, and the next surrounded by cacti and pine trees!

I dunno who´s who... but we were drinkin wayyy too much Cucuey and this is what we ended up doing! The Chavistas thought we were just plain odd!

Geri and I spent hours and hours just chillin´on the sand dunes and watching the sunset.
