Ok not sure when I last wrote but I'm writing this on the bus on Adams iPhone! We are currently getting a bus from Montevideo the capital of Uruguay to Punte del esta, this is a small beach town however weather is not good enough for the beach yet! However have heard very nice things about it.
When I last wrote I think it was in Mendoza after we did the wine tour on bikes! This was so much fun and we tried a lot of wine! From here we went to Cordoba, we got a bus there overnight and arrived at the hostel at 10am and suggested a skydive, the hostel said we could go in half an hour so we changed and left, it was so quick which was good because then we didn't have time to think about it!! When we got to the skydive place we had to sign a contract basically saying if something goes wrong we cannot hold them liable, so we signed our life away! We then got about 3 minutes of training in Spanish, waited for the plane, got strapped in and then we were off! It was so scary in the plane just getting higher and higher! We got attached to the instructor and had to seat on the edge of the plane legs together and then you have no choice you get pushed out! This part you have to arch your body and when they tap you you have to put out your hands! This is all in film! Was very scary however the feeling of falling was so good! The ground gets closer very fast and after 30seconds they open the parachute, here you get pulled up and then the instructor unclips the two bottom clips attaching you this was worrying I asked why but he couldn't understand however now know it is for the landing to put you feet up! The parachuting was amazing you got to control it and everything and could see for miles! I was still a bit scared as kept thinking my harness could still break ha! The whole experience was the best ever, even though I was still scared when I landed! Adam wanted to go straight back up he loved it so much!! After this we wandered around the city site seeing! We went to the market and I made the best steak for dinner was huge! We ended up meeting some people and had a night out which was really good too! The next day we left to go I Rosario for one night! Here we had a chilled night watching films and ended up ordering pizza ha! The next day we looked around as had lunch, we went shopping but resisted buying so much! We then headed for Buenos Aries for the weekend! Buenos Aries is the best city I have ever been to we both loved it so much! On the Friday we got there we met back up with people we had met in Mendoza! We went out for literally the biggest, juiciest and best steak I have and probably will ever taste again in my life ha! We all kept going on about this steak all night!!! We went out which was very good, there you don't go out until 2am and get back at 6am! Me and adam had some trouble with the taxi man on the way home which was exciting as it led to a police chase however all was sorted in the end and a big misunderstanding! So the next day we didnt do anything at allll! Writing this we have just had a crash someone went into the back of the bus so will probably end up being a long bus ride all is ok though not a big crash, I just took a picture and a bus went into a car that went into us so the car is squashed between the buses!! Anyway the sat night was just as good and the club was huge! We ended up getting a free lift home of some local argies which was good! Also I manged to get free entry both Friday and sat which was a bonus!! On Sunday we wanted around the market which took ages as we stopped all the time and it was cold! By the time we made it to the antique bit we wanted to go back! We stayed in on Sunday and walked around the city and docks on Monday which was Nice! 😊 on Monday we met some new people and went out to a club down the road which was rammed but really good! We also bumped into rich on sunday but he was about to get the night bus - we had met him all through Asia!! On the Tuesday we did a tour of la boca which was the football stadium so Adam loved it! Although the guide did get a bit hostile when she was talking about the falklands lol! You can't call them that in Argentina! Anyway we then went on a ferry across to Uruguay! We stayed in this old colonia town which was nice and then headed to Montevideo! Here it has been really good! We had this weird old man in the hostel though that would speak to us in Spanish for ages then say only joking I can speak English! He did this a lot was very annoying! We went out with some brazilians which was good but there English was not this best ha, we went to a jazz band which was crap but the other bars were cool! We then met this couple and decided to go to tango! We had a lesson and then saw a show! Adam trod on my feet the whole time and I tried I lead was awful but very funny! I then got stuck dancing with an old man!! The old woman said adam was the best as we both danced with her but also said to him she was his slave and loved his british accent!! I also managed to get a lot of the hostel playing one spot afterwards which is always funny!! montevideo is a really nice city would be even better in summer!!! We are off to brazil soon and to iguazu falls! We have booked flights aroun brazil so we can go to the wetlands and fly up to the north for sun sun sun 😊 i did however end up booking the wrong flight but have sorted this now! Can't wait for the next few weeks!!! Only one month left today!! 😞 Been having the best time ever loved Argentina!!!
