Brzo rano jsme dorazili na hranice s Peru. Tady probehl docela zdlouhavy proces prechodu hranic. Nejdriv jsme museli dostat razitko o odchodu z Ekvadoru a vratit kartu, kterou jsme dostali pri priletu, pak pesky prejit most na peruanskou stranu, kde ukazat pasy a vyplnit novou kartu, pote prejit k druhe budce, kde jsme dostali dalsi razitko do pasu.

Early in the morning we arrived at the crossing with Peru. Here, we went througt a bit complicated process of crossing the border. Firstly we had to get an exit stamp from ecuadorian side and to return an emigration card, which we received upon our arrival, then we had to cross the bridge by foot, where we showed our passports and filled up another card afterwards we had to walk to another place to get another stamp into our passports. Moreover we had a little problem with officer who had never heard about Slovakia before, but in the end he found it on a piece of paper under the name of Eslovaque. For the moment it looked like Katarina will stay in Ecuador. On the bus, there were 2 peruvians and one of them could speak english, so we chatted for a while - he was talking about peligroso /dangerous/ Peru, taking taxi everywhere. But it not so bad as others told us, you just have to avoid certain areas after dark. In the end they wanted to take picture with us, like we were some superstars, quite funny ... But later we understood, because here tourist is a rare species /its not a Macchu Picchu/. After arrival to Piura we didnt waste a minute and moved to our next destination - Chiclayo, we just had to change dollars for soles - 1 dollar is 2.75 soles. We found a good hostal, had a tasty lunch much better than in Ecuador and did some shopping in local supermarket, which was like europien one - bought a baguette, peruvian vine and cheese and did have a nice feast. For the first time we have our own ensuite, but no hot water - you cant have everything... The highlight of the day was when Stan felt through his bed, but managed to fix it and its still hold.....
