we got a boat out on lake titicca to see the uros people who live on floating reed islands in the middle of the lake. we also stayed with a family and went to a party dressed up in traditional clothes! very groovy indeed.

we played a game of football against the locals on the home stay island. 5-4 to us! mostly thanks to ronaldo mcloughlin himslef.

very basic accommodation. the food was great though. we hearded the family sheep and helped peel potatoes for dinner. it was all rather fun!

It was a bit dissappointing coz it was all a bit too touristy. Especially when these woman starting singing "my bonnie lies over the ocean".

Bowl-shaped La Paz is the highest capital city in the world. However, its not actually Bolivia's capital. I think that's interesting. Many wouldn't.
