:)
funny...less than and hour ago was talking to a friend of mine. He was asking me why exactly do I like to travel so much...what keeps me going - the first sentence that u wrote is exactly the same as mine was "For me, travel isn't just about the journey it's about the passion it evokes deep inside of me." Keep having a passion life :) Jana

año = year; ano = anus In that particular case, the omission of the tilde on the 'n' can lead to funny misunderstandings. So 'cumpleanos' means 'achieve/fulfill anuses'. On Spanish keyboards, there's a separate key for the 'ñ', but if you can't find it, you can write 'ny' to be on par with the pronunciation, at least. To make matters even more complicated, in Portuguese 'ano' indeed means 'year'. You should keep that in mind in case you hop over to Brazil. If you already knew all of this, ignore my comment :-)

Anos verses años!
Gracias for the laugh! Although I am aware of the discrepancy and like you guessed, do not have an ñ on my keyboard..read: I'm too lazy to go looking for one...I figure it kinda makes for a more interesting read, right? lol

Hi Andrea
We are currently trying to decide where to go next. What a wonderful blog. It makes me want to hop on the next plane. Your word descriptions are marvelous as always.

Loved the Amazon!
Thanks Merry Jo! If I were able to drop everything and go somewhere right now, I would pick the Amazon. I can't stress how fantastic it was. I will go back someday for sure - but maybe the Brasil side, meander up in a paddleboat to see the pink dolphins. Cheers!
