Life in Bohemia. Spent about a week in Barranco, Lima during which I had the pleasure to meet some of the coolest people on the planet. Funnily enough the sun was too hot and the ocean too cold, but the Peruvians seemed to deal with it just fine and made it a daily practice to fill up every last remaining inch of the long beach. Far from all the hustle and bustle of the center, Barranco proved the perfect escape from the around-the-clock honking and the overwhelming sense of an incomprehensible vastness (it's pushing on 10 million folks) that is Lima. In short, I loved it.
