The Nasca Lines were cool, the rest of the day.... well, let us just call it "discovery". "My friends, we have some bad news" was the most commonly heard phrase.

The airline to take us from Lima to Ica was late, the return flight back to Lima was late, and could not land in Ica (no landing lights at the airports), so we drove to an army base where the plane could land, etc. It all made for a long day for the one hour and fifteen minute Nasca Line flight.

But that part of the day rocked. We were on a 12 seat plane, everyone got a window, and the pilot made sure people on both sides got to see everything. It was a wild rollercoaster ride. (Thank GOD for dramamine!)

Today, we fly to Cusco!
