Pyramid of the Limas
Today, we went on the tour in the morning and then in the afternoon we went to Huaca Pucllana. It is an adobe pyramid of the Lima culture dating from AD 400. It is currently being excavated by resident archeologists and probably will be for another 20 years. It was pretty amazing, about the size of 16 hectares.
I bought a new camera today! We just came now to download some pictures to this blog and the batteries died. Can you believe it? I will have to post them tomorrow. It figures that the batteries that came with the camera would only last a few hours. By tomorrow, this blog will be much more interesting to look at since you will be able to see what I am talking about.
Macayla and I are on the move tomorrow, making our way south. We will be stopping in and around Ica. There is a museum there with mummies and shrunken heads. Exciting!!!!
