I arrived here on Saturday afternoon, and have had an absolutely incredible time here. These last few days have really been filled with fantastic sights and adventures, really quite unique ones, and have reminded me once more why it is that I travel – to see more and to learn mo... Unique sights and adventures!
Sad that phones can't be banned from these travels. That sounds like a great bus. Thanks for the 20 year comparison. The changes you have identified make sense. Loved Chariot of the Gods and it makes you consider all manner of possibilities. Great idea bringing your soundtrack... perfect! We loved, loved, loved the Nazca lines... oh so amazing. Well said... much more than meets the eye. The joys of Peruvian cuisine and sand in all parts. Glad the adventure continues.

Unique sights and adventures
Wow, you seem to know exactly the experiences I have written about, that's very reassuring! I'm very glad I'm not the only one who sees more in the Nazca Lines. Totally agree on the mobile phone banning, if only we could all be like the very sensible and respectful Japanese!! Thank you for following my adventures with me ?

What an adventure!
I've thought that when we eventually get to Peru, I'd like to do a trip to the Ballestas islands, so it was really interesting reading about your day trip. I've wondered if it's worthwhile to do the small plane ride to see the Nazca Lines, and it sure sounds like it was for you. Their origins certainly are a mystery:). What a great adventure you are having, and you must be having more now in the jungle!

Adventures in Peru
Indeed, I really am having an amazing time traveling in this beautiful country. I highly recommend the Islas Ballestas visit and tour if you're planning an itinerary. And if it's something that interests you, then also the Nazca Lines flight - this has definitely been my highlight so far. Just arrived in Iquitos, excited to begin my Amazon jungle adventure tomorrow ?
