Peru, and especially Cusco, should be on everyone's bucket list. Carla does it right...you really needed to stay at a 5 star hotel to make this experience really special.

Not surprising to hear all the changes you've observed in Cusco. Progress... Glad Carla booked the two of you into some luxury. Never hurts after extended time in hostels. Variety is the spice of life. And...you are fortunate to have been to this amazing place twice.
