“Accept that cars aren’t necessary and that some meals take hours, that we can now fly to space, that there’s nothing wrong with crashing on couches if you’re on an adventure, that three outfits are enough, that sunrises are free, that the first time you see Machu Picchu it will break your heart, that being alone in a country with no money and no return ticket will teach you more about yourself than any therapist ever could.” - Aric S. Queen

Today was the day the day we see everything what we came here for- Machu Picchu. We go down 1000 altitude today to visit the site. Our alternative itinerary which involved no hiking or 10000 steps is a car to Ollantambo a train to Agua Calientas also known as Macchu Pucchu town. that's because we are at the bottom a short bus ride takes us to the entrance of Macchu Picchu . Anxious to see our husbands and the rest of the group Mel and I feel the excitement in the cool thin air. We entered the site with sharp eyes and see the group making their way down more steps Everyone emotional our Group reunion was like a loved ones visit on Survivor with group hugs. We bragged about our hot showers and pre machuu Picchu massage and listen to stories of steps and more steps gorgeous views and cold nights.

Their trail guides gave us all a guided tour around the sight and it is just an amazing place. We saw a chinchilla hanging around and took a hundred photos. What an amazing place.
