My father grew up amid the green hills of Assam in India. When I was a little boy, I went with him to see the vastness of nature, holding his hand. Thank you MJ...Indeed, I don't get too many opportunities to cuddle a goat; the lady was happy to let me hold the goat for the photo op. But, the little one was more interested to see the dance than be part of the photo op....

Indeed, what a lovely town Cusco is! I'm glad you had an enjoyable first day there, and well done on beating the altitude sickness. I completely agree, there's nothing like a warm smile and hospitality whilst travelling. I also agree on being able to learn something of the local language where one travels to.

Alex, thank you for your comments. Sorry for the late reply...not sure how I missed it. Perhaps due to the notification glitch. I am glad I am not the only one who is in love with Cusco! Yes, I would love to go back there again. But there are so many places to travel and my bucket-list increases!
