28/03 to 04/04/13 - Cuzco:

Nice town, lots of churches, and paved streets. The main attractions are around Cuzco is to visit the as it is full of Inca sites like Saqsaywaman and not only the Machu Picchu.

Lots of museums offer information on the folklore culture, art of the region (boleto turistico costs 130 PEN valid for 10 days). The ticket will allow you to visit archaeological sites and city museums. It is Worth it if you got time.

We did the Museum of contemporary art: paintings and ceramic arts from renowned Peruvian of the 20th and 21th century and the Museum of Popular art: Belongs to the American Institute of Art and exhibits sculptures,ceramics..of contemporary Cusco Craftsmen. Finally the Museum qorikancha is interesting for the momies.
