Hi, Welcome to our blog. Having completed a 9 month trip to the US, Australia and SE Asia in 2005, we were truly bitten by the travel bug. Which tour group?
Hello! Great blog! I'm wondering what company you booked this tour through, and if you booked it in advanced or when you arrived in Arequipa? I'm traveling to Peru by myself, and am thinking of spending Christmas in Arequipa and looking for a similar trek in Colca Canyon as well. Thanks so much!

Hi. really sorry, but just seen this today, and no doubt you have already been to the Canyon now? To be honest, I cant remember who we went with, however I think we booked it in one of the agents within the main square in Arequipa. In case you havent been yet, I would recommend you do the 3 days trek rather than the 2 as this way, you get more time to soak up the surroundings and its less of a stressful walk! Anyway, hope this helps if you havent been yet! Regards - Mike
