Bus odchazel v 6 rano, takze zase krute probuzeni pred 5. Cekalo nas asi 6 hodin smer jedno z nejkrasnejsich mist na trekking - Colca kanon asi 3000metres nad morem- nejhlubsi kanon sveta, i kdyz.... My ji ignorovali a slecna toho nechala. Jeli jsme dal, minuli znamy a turisty oblezny Mirador del condor - vyhlidka z ktere pozorujete kondory a vystoupili na Mirador San Miguel. Jeste v buse pristoupil v jedne z vesnicek trochu zmateny spanelsky turista Miguel a ze spatne vystoupil. My vystoupili a on jel dal.
60 lidech si nemuzete vybirat- zdi z hliny, plechova strecha, zadne zamykani.
The bus was due at 6 so it meant another cruel early waking up before 5. Ahead of us 6 hours on the bus and Colca Canyon about 3000m high- one of the most beautiful trekking spots and the deepest canyon in the world. 1. stop was Chivay, where a lady tried to sell us a ticket that we surely need to enter the canyon, but we did resist cos our book-guide did not talk about that. We carried on, left behind famous and always surrounded by tourists Mirador del Condor and chose Mirador San Miguel as the start of our trek. Still on
the bus in one of the villages we met a bit confused Spanish tourist Miguel that got off on the wrong place. We got off and he continued...The beginning was pure descent, very steep one. Meanwhile Miguel appered out of blue, looking tired and asked if he can join us. Now we were 3 and heading down to the floor which we reached after 3 hours. After that there was just a way up and more up to our todays sleeping station - a tiny village Cosnirhua, one of few ones in the canyon. Cos Miguel did not have a sleeping bag we did haggle and end up on 20 soles for 3 in the local hostal. It was the worst place we slept so far, mud bricks walls, zinc roof, no lock, but u cant b picky in the village with 60 people where u sleep in much better looking house than most of highlanders. The night was busier than we would want, firstly Kate was attacked by mice, then 2 drunks came to sleep in the room below our one - i had to pour water over them, it didnt help so we went to find the lady
owner, unsuccessfully, but luckily after we got back there was silence. Otherwise Miguel seems to be great to be around, invited us to Madrid and overall it was a perfect day and i think that he felt the same, not have to trek on his own unprepared.
