Victor gallantly took most of the food in his pack...
Back from the 13 day trek... I´ll let the pictures speak for themselves!

Today, after dancing the night away with some other trekkers we met and our group last night, I joined the English/Canadian 3 for breakfast on the terrace in the sun of their superb hotel overlooking the Cordillera Blanca... brought back memories of Sunday brunches in Geneva on the verandah of my Colombian friend´s apartment.... Next we went to a typical foreign cafe hang out for a beautiful vegie sandwich lunch followed by a great expresso and apple pie... A haircut, and reading the paper in the sun later, I booked my night bus to Trujillo - no rest for the wicked! But, I´ve decided a bit of luxury is great every now and again... dare I say a necessity??!!!

I´m posting photos first... check this space for the commentary later!
