It was nice to sleep in this morning. Pas kept barging in and trying to rouse us. He finally gave up, though, and disappeared. Ann got up and started looking all over for Pas. Mum and I eventually rose; Ann came back without Pas. We finally got all together and went for breakfast. During the meal, we saw porpoises. After breakfast, we went to Dr. Small's lecture "Ocean Wanderers." After that, we gathered our books and went to the card room to work. Then we played cards, then went to another lecture on the Wilkes expedition. We returned to the card room, to do school work. Then lunch. We are in the library with Margo and Barbara, inventing crimes of cyanide patches and unturned landing tags. We had one final lecture on the Southern Ocean. We went, once again, to the card room where Mum, Ann, Janine, her mother, and I worked on a puzzle. Dinner was a Swiss dinner. We ate with the first officer. It was interesting.
