Tonight we went out to dinner at a new Italian restuarant. We took our usual #5 bus and about half way there it took a turn that we had never taken before. It went quite a way from the normal route, and at one point we decided to get off and walk. The normal walk from the stop we usually get off at is about a quarter of a kilometer. When we got off the bus, it was close to a kilometer walk. Oh well, it helped us build up our appetite. After dinner we walked along the river. In early December the city puts up a number of decorations along the river that are lit at night. Then they put up a huge Nativity scene at the Otorongo Plaza.

During the walk we passed a construction site on a street that a lot of the buses take. So that answered why our bus went so far out of the way.
