This afternoon became a time for rest, reading, washing clothes, grocery shopping...and, of course, blogging. This photo of the volcano Cayambe is from our front window as are those of the deep ravines and valley below. Quite incredible for a couple of desert flatlanders of late. We realize more and more how much we miss the green, mountainous Pacific NW. Lots of reminders here.... read more

What beautiful vistas !! Love all the pix. But Travelblog has an issues with posting. If it is only the beginning of the post, and I click on "more" - it then says "this journal entry has been deleted" !! But I can get it back by going to another entry and coming back. But still can't see this whole post anyway. Sorry to hear about your lung problems !! But interesting and odd about the lack of joint pain !! Makes me wonder. But I just got back from HUMIDITY and rain rain in KY and was pretty achy !! Still am with monsoons here. Dang !! Have fun - stay well !!
