happy new year everyone!
this may well me the last travel blog until the next adventure. tomorrow we head for oregon, which i must say, it not a bad place to go home to. today we tried to get the earliest start as possible preceeding the new year´s eve festivities in quito. quito is a pretty wild city full of pyros! today, we hopped a bus to otavalo to check out the well boasted mercados. i must say it was quite fun to barter with the locals fill the backback with momentos (dad, you are SO hard to shop for!).
the jungle tour was amazing. i am so so so glad we did it. enjoy the photos. i have plenty more that i´m sure most of you will have to sit through one day.
anyways, i´m gonna keep this short and sweet. i want to give a shout out to all the wonderful people i´ve met in the last 7 weeks, you helped make my memories all the sweeter. tommy and erin of lima, thanks for your hospitality and make sure you give us a ring if you ever find yourselves in oregon!
mom, i´ll be talking to you soon!

It has been so wonderful hearing about all your adventures. Thanks for the updates. Sara and Tyson leave tomorrow for Buenos Aries and I don't leave till Feb. 12th. I would love to talk to you more about your trip and possibly get some tips on some hot spots. Safe travels home and blessings in the New Year. Noora

Finally- someplace you've been I know about!;)
Hey Estacia! I had a good time in Banos. I like that place. But yeah- Quito on New Years is hard to beat! You weren't stopped in the street by the sexy mujares, were you? Did you burn a viejo? And that market- holy cow! You could do all your Christimas shopping for the next 2 years and spend less than $100! I can't believe you're coming back to Oregon already! Hope the rest of the trip goes well.
