WAORANI CAMP TOURS
Currently, visitors have more interest in sustainable and community tourism, following those interest, We would like to put in your consideration our Extraordinary, Adventurous and Unique cultural Tour, together with one of the few ancestral community of Huaorani in the amazon Rainforest of Ecuador.
We are an Ecological Camp, committed to sustainable tourism, we work together with a Huaorani indigenous community.
Wentaro Waorani Camp is a charming and comfortable jungle camp, located near the most biodiverse place in Ecuador, the Yasuni National Park, which is as well the ancestral territory of the Huaorani indigenous people, an ideal destination that will let you discover the mysteries of the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Waorani Camp can get reach with a seven hours hike through the primary rainforest, where visitors will have the opportunity to observe Amazon wildlife and flora, and at the same time they will get the opportunity to share the customs and
traditions of an authentic Huaorani clan in their own lifestyle with amazing landscape.
This sustainable project creates a very unique experience, where tourists will learn about the Huaorani cultures and their close relationship with the rainforest, and in order to contribute to the preservation of this reserve our native guide will give you a conservationist interpretation of the environment and actual situation of the primary Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest.
We offer three different kinds of packages daily: Adventure, Economic, and Standard from 3(Adventure)*, 4, 5, 6, and 7 days in our camp. ALL INCLUDED.
Note: It must be a minimum of 2 people to start this Tour, shared tours departures on Monday. Guests are provided with rubber boots to hike trought the rain forest.
Our Waorani Camp can be reach from Tena o Coca city by:
Car 2 hours + hike 7 hours . Tena City
Canoe 9 hours, Coca City (extra charge)
Aircraft 45 min. from Shell airport (extra charge)
