Lovely Laura from Australia in our Casa Kiwi kitchen in Medellin preparing a yummy meal of fresh veggies!

I forgot to upload these photos. Didn't take that many in Medellin...only spent 4 days there and the real attractions of the town are the nightclubs...don't take my camera there! In Bogota I roamed around a lot during the day and was able to take out my camera every once in a while to take some photos...but just like in any big city, I had to keep my camera out of sight so as not to advertise that I am a tourist with a very valuable electronic in my bag! But I did get some great pics of the art on display in Bogota...both in the museums and on the street. I really enjoyed Bogota...all except for the cold!

Dowtown Medellin from their fabuous metro train! Love public transit!

Hopped on the metro cable into the suburbs in the hills to catch a view of Medellin at sunset.

Super nice cable cars! Very modern, professional, clean, and chill ride into the hills...woudn't mind coming home from work on this everyday like the locals do!

One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in...Casa Kiwi in Medellin...but it was more like a Frat house since all the other guests were guys on the prowl for Colombianas...had to get out after a few days!

Next went to Bogota and stayed in the up and coming newest hostel...The Cranky Croc...with this fabulous kitchen! One problem...it only had one pot and one pan for the whole place to share...what the?

Took a stroll through the Museo Botero...an art museum with lots of Botero's paintings and scluptures of his BIG people. Really enjoyed this museum.

Hey, I finally got to really check out the blog and...wow! I'll have to take some time and look back on what I missed but it is truly amazing. I love the Bogota pics...I especially loved the political graffiti and art! I also really liked the lllama with shoes, thats amazing, haha. Keep on keeping! Blessed travels!
