TOWN SQUARETOWN SQUARETOWN SQUARE

Lovely public art work
This town is perched just 26 miles off the Strait of Magellan, it can't claim Incas as part of its history, just gold, sheep and little penguins. Had to tender in as the port is not deep enough for our ship to dock - were not in any hurry as decided we would just walk around town and soak up the atmosphere - there's definitely a difference between Argentina and Chile with language - everyone in Chile tries to speak English. This is probably one of the last untouched landscapes on the planet - it teams with wildlife. Lots of tourists around town from all over the world - John badly needed a haircut - ticked! Hairdresser wanted to know here we were from - Australia - "Oh Crocadilly Dundee" - a very nice guy! Tried to find a masseur but no luck, Saturday and a lot of places not open - did his shoulder in a table tennis comp - so have to wait until we get to the next port in three days. Had a three hour walk around the city - taking in all the sites - Empanadas for lunch! Lucky a couple of days at sea now,
