Adam writes: Completion of our 5-day trek in the Torres del Paine National Park rewarded us with some of the most stunning scenery and challenging routes that Chile has to offer. After a rough bus ride to the trailhead and a catamaran ride to the opposite side of Lago Pehoe - we began a grueling hike to Glacier Grey and our first campsite. Day two brought us to the base of Valle del Francis where the next day we scrambled up the surrounding mountains and were constantly astonished by the scenery. With over 30 kms hiked, we next headed to the Torres on Day four where we camped at the base of the mountain in preparation for an early morning hike to see the sun rise on the Torres del Paine. The early morning was well worth the vistas and the return to civilization was equally greeted by a late night bus to El Calafate where I finally was able to meet up with Stephanie!
