Une asado (grillade) est organisée aujourd’hui par le proprio de l’auberge. Lors de mes passages jusqu’ici, l’asado avait toujours eu lieu la veille, donc cette fois-ci je vais pouvoir y participer, et en plus, c’est gratuit. Annoncée à tous ceux qu’il rencontre pour 14h, lui-même ne commencera à faire chauffer le barbecue qu’à 16h, sachant que ses amis et connaissances n’arriveront que vers 17/18h ! A la chilienne quoi. Du coup, attente sur le ponton du lac à 2 min de là sous un beau soleil, et une eau de lac un peu frisquette quand même. Mais très bon barbecue en tout cas.

An asado (BBQ) is organised today by the owner of the hostel I stay in. Until now, I always missed them, they already took place the evening before I arrived, so it is a good opportunity to take part and ice on the cake, it’s free, on the owner! He told all his friends and acquaintances that it will start at 2 pm, but he won’t prepare the grill until 4 pm, knowing that everybody will arrive around 5/6 pm. The Chilean way. And he was right! Until then, sunbathing on a potoon of the lake, 2 minutes away from there. The water is warm enough to dip my feet, no more.

>TOTD: the barbecue was a good way to compensate for the lack of water all day at the hostel!
