And everywhere you look there are flowers, babies and snowy mountains. And of course the famous river Futa.
Today we head off from Futaleufu where we've had a great time seeing the pretty town, the river and neighbouring mountains. We became lost yesterday afternoon and were adopted by a young farm kid, who showed us the Zeta one of the famous rapids on the Futa. He lives on a farm in a very remote part of the river near the national park, and was a very willing guide. And before we left, he played guitar and sang us a couple of songs. It was precious.
In summer people come to Futeleufu from around the world to ride the class 4, 5 and 5+ rapids on the mint green Futa, and we could see why. It is a very scenic river and the water is pristine, if a little chilly for my bones
