Before we went to this trip around island of Chiloe our landrold Charlie had told us about a storm coming here in two days time. This was a third day of sunny weather and we wanted to enjoy it as much as possible. Bus to Chonchi was 2 hours late as it should, but that was nothing to do about that. In hostel we just dropped our ruksacks and went to a near island of Lemuy. We heard a lot about Lemuy, about its charm and beauty, and definitely one not to be missed. We cant say we didnt like it, but it looked exactly like back home /except the ocean bit/, so after a while we turned back to Chonchi. In the evening, on a pier few metres from our hostel there was a concert of local and as we were told very popular group called Garras de AmoClaws of love. We could not miss this so we went to check out, it looked like whole town was there and everybody seemed enjoying it. The port was full of lighted up boats, some joined with chains and we could see partying people there. At midnight, there was a firework, Chonchi is a small town but any town could be proud of this one. It took at least minutes and it was much more better than the one we saw in Salta on a New Year.
