Last night we're sitting on the bed studying with our books spread all around and the place starts to shake. The bed's a rocking and Tere comes down the hall, tranquillo, she says. Be calm. It's only a little one.

Okay, but it's big enough to make the bed feel like a cheap hotel.

It lasted quite a while, one after another, and we laughed at her because she was so calm. Oh, they happen all the time.

After all, this is Chile.

Sounds like you are having a good time, but could do without the earth quakes. It all sounds very interesting. Our snow is finally going because it is raining but we expect more snow today. You're not missing a thing!!! Only the book club!!

Thanks. We're studying many hours a day, or at least I am. Bob's not quite so much into it, but enjoys talking with people so that's a good motivation. We go for walks after class each day but really haven't gotten out of the main section o
f town because it's just so beautiful, we enjoy it. Our hostess lives too far away to walk so we take a colectivo (group taxi).
