San Ramon
I helped create this :) Well, a lot has passed. I've been all around my school, been in classes for almost 2 weeks now, been around to my family's farms, and... well more.
First, school. It's rather difficult to continuouslly concentrate, well, because it's in a different language. But I'm able to pay attention for about 30 minutes to an hour. Then I'll be really tired. Maybe it's because it's almost like a job, from 8-5. A little long for my likes, but nothing I can do. And I'm always hungry, but I don't know why, because I certainly eat enough. I've made friends with a lot of people. They all want to help me, and that's great! They love Asados though (bbq's).
I still don't know when to get off the bus, but my little sister helps me when piri my brother isn't there. Like today, Piri wasn't there, and I asked my friends to help me and they told me when they saw her get up, but at that exact moment, a little friend of hers came and told me. I still smile and laugh at it. I love my family
My various trips around Yungay. I've been to
Colegio Cholguan
This clock is the first thing when you walk into the school a campo called San Ramon, one on the other side of the valley of cows. They were both beautiful in their own way. In the one called San Ramon, I helped set fire to the fields. I don't know if it's a tradition, or if it is to help the next year, or just to clear the fields. But it was a lot of fun, and a little scary. It sounded like the ocean when it was big, and you could feel the heat from a couple meters away. 4
In the other side of the valley of the cows, it is mostly a forest there, and they are taking out the bad trees, that are pests and selling the fire wood. We took a hike through it, and it was a forest, and really beautiful.
In my Colegio, there's a forest of pine trees right behind it, but you can't really smell them because we are stuck inside all day. It's kind of odd not moving about to different classes, but they both have their bonuses and disadvantages. You don't have to really worry about being late to class, but you don't get to meet other people,
A store
This is one of the normal stores here. see other classrooms and meet with your friends in the passing period.
My family is the best I could ask for. My mother and father are always worried about me and telling me if I need anything, or if I don't feel good I need to tell them. Of course I know this, but they keep telling me, and taking me on trips they take around the campos, or just into town. It's gives me a chance to hear actual spanish, not the slowed down version I need. I love my little sister, and all she does for me. We can only talk a little right now, but my skill in spanish has no where to go but up from here. My other sister went away to Chillan for college, but she comes home on the weekend. This week was her first week. She's a lot of fun, and takes me on her excursions into town. My brother, he's really helpful too. He helps me with the school and where things are, and helps me get along.
My classmates are really nice, and they always want to help. They always have fun, and have
My house
